Laura Veirs (reply) Her last album or two have gotten more electric and artsy (not a bad thing IMO), but odd fingerpicking patterns seem to be the backbone of many of her songs. She says her playing is influenced by Elizabeth Cotten and Mississippi John Hurt. |
