A Pavilion of Tales and a Bonfire of Ghost Stories!
Seventh Annual all day storytelling and music festival in the historic Mohegan Colony in Westchester, New York where once upon a time Pete Seeger and Paul Robeson performed. Nationally and regionally known tellers and musicians appear on the Pavilion stage telling adult tales, simultaneously family programs go on in the stone school house opposite. Gather round flaming torches and flickering candlelight for Ghost Stories in the evening at the Pavilion. Rain or shine! All venues are covered. Food and refreshments available. Bring towels if you wish to have a dip in the lake.

Crompond, NY 10517, near Peekskill and Yorktown Heights (in Westchester), one hour north of NYC - Hudson Line to Peekskill (Off Lexington Avenue between routes 6 and 202 in the Colony)
Be entertained and entranced by renowned storytellers and musicians at the charming Colony at Lake Mohegan rain or shine! Sit spellbound as they bring to life historical moments, characters, and events from literature, as well as their own personal tales under the Pavilion or in the Stone School House. Then bring your blankets to keep you warm from the "chilling" ghost stories we will tell by the light of flaming torches and candlelight in the evening at the Pavilion!

Four Shillings Short: musicians and storytellers
Bobby Gonzalez: multicultural storyteller and poet
Linda H. Humes: The Urban Griot
Michael Parent: bi-lingual teller and author from Maine
Sanga: charismatic and accomplished Trinidadian musician
The Storycrafters: storytellers and musicians
Sandi Sylver: ventriloquist, songstress and storyteller from Chicago
and more!
Note: The Storycrafters will be in the ghost story concert at Jonesborough in October and plan to try out some of those stories with us!
Tickets: Volunteers are free!
$12 adults - $3 children under 15 day OR night,
$15 adults - $5 children all day and night.
Special group and family rates available.
