I found an artist on myspace, Rachel McGoye. I love her music, she can rock on both the acoustic and piano and she has a unique voice. If you haven't heard of her, check her out! I really like the song "Try Try"

I play the guitar and just curious on what other female guitarists everyone listens to, if not guitarists then pianists cause I play piano too, lol.

My favorite is Eva Cassidy. Unfortunately though she's dead. But her music lives on.

Her last album or two have gotten more electric and artsy (not a bad thing IMO), but odd fingerpicking patterns seem to be the backbone of many of her songs.
She says her playing is influenced by Elizabeth Cotten and Mississippi John Hurt.

I watched Kaki King and she is very good I was unfamiliar with her music and am really impressed with what I've seen so far. Thanks
