Hi everyone,
I'd like to re-introduce myself... as I've been away from the FF for a few years.
I'm Toby Walker... a professional touring acoustic roots and blues fingerstyle guitarist. I've been at this
professionally for many, many years.. touring the U.S., U.K. and northern Europe.
I'll be back in the U.K. in October of 09.
In addition to touring I also give guitar workshops teaching fingerstyle blues, rags, old time jazz while on the road and when I'm home at my studio.
I spent quite a few years learning the blues first hand from many old time blues musicians directly in their homes during my research trips to Mississippi, Virginia and North Carolina. I've posted their music, pics and stories on my web site which I'd encourage you to visit sometime.
Well, it's nice to be back and I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you.
