I manage to learn guitar on my own for about a year now, I think I have progressed a lot, but Im not too sure what to focus on right now. I have been looking for guitar teacher (I live outside of major cities) and the only teacher in my area is taking the summer off
I discovered fingerstyle guitar a couple
months ago and I am blown away by it. The only problem is it takes me soooo long to learn one song. So I was wondering if I should focus more on learning
classical music, starting and progressing from easier pieces to harder ones, while focusing on technique and keeping a beat, or should I just keep working hard
at a fingerstyle song?
I have 2 songs arranged by Tomi Paldanius that I learned, but not mastered, in my youtube channel, to give you an idea of my level of playing : http://www.youtube.com/user/JLJL7808
