I bought this 000-28VS about a month ago, thinking that I would adjust to the 1 13/16" nut width. After more than 30 years of playing mandolins
and 1 11/16" Dreadnaughts, with small hands at that, it's just not going to happen. This guitar is basically new and has less than 3 hours playing
time on it. It looks like it just came out of the box. Without going into detail, the sound is fabulous and typical of the 12 fret, long scale guitars. The
EIR is great but the Sitka spruce top is the nicest I've seen with super straight grain and attractive silking. This is the standard model and the specs
are available at the Martin website as well as several dealer's sites. I will include a custom self adhereing pickguard made specifically for this model.
